Help! "We were unable to load Disqus. If you are a moderator please see our troubleshooting guide"

If you've recently changed your Thinkific domain, installed a custom domain, or changed your Disqus lesson titles, chances are your course player is no longer able to load the Disqus discussion.

This is because the URL has changed and Disqus doesn't know how to connect anymore. You'll need to remap the URLs in Disqus. They have some instructions for that here: https://help.disqus.com/customer/portal/articles/912757-url-mapper

If that seems like a bit too much, you can do a quick and easy fix by disconnecting and reconnecting Disqus. Keep in mind, however, that this will result in all of your previous Disqus discussion posts being wiped clean.

I am looking at the attached instructions and they indicate to go to admin panel>discussions>Tools, but there is no tools option to chose from. What am I missing. I need to get this fixed ASAP. Thanks.

Hi Tina,

Sorry about that, it looks like Disqus have updated their interface! I found these more up-to-date instructions: https://help.disqus.com/customer/portal/articles/1424221-how-to-download-edit-and-upload-a-url-map-csv

If you click on the link for admin panel > Discussions > Tools in that article, you'll end up on the right page :)

Thanks!

Catherine
