Should I adjust the image size and resolution for the pictures I upload to Thinkific? (regular images, not banner images)
For example, on my regular company website, I reduce the resolution to 72 dpi and the size to about 600 pixels wide for every image. My Wordpress instructor told me this will help the webpages load faster. I'm not talking about banner images, just regular pictures on the webpage.
Should I reduce the image size for the images I upload to Thinkific on text pages?
Yes, you should definitely optimize your image size and quality before uploading into Thinkific. In this way your pages can load faster. Even with banner images, you can use the recommended sizes but make sure that the resolution is not too high.
Hope this helps!
Ok, thanks Oliver!
So far I can't get any images to upload at all --- i tried with banner and I tried uploading an image in text section - I dragged, nothing... I chose the file... nothing. I am using Chrome.
