Can I have multiple Thinkific sites?

Are you running more than one type of course, or courses catered to different audiences?

If so,  you can create multiple schools if you need to - you'd simply need to sign up for a second Thinkific site at!

It's worth noting that our plans are per site, so if you're considering upgrading your plan in the future, you would need to have a plan for each.

Alternatively, you could run multiple types of courses on the same site and simply divide them up into categories - it really depends on how separate they need to be; e.g. would the courses need separate branding (colours, logo, etc)? If they do, then having separate sites may be your best option.

If you would like to discuss this further, then please feel free to get in touch!

Just to clarify, if I have multiple sites, can I still manage my courses CENTRALLY or do I have to replicate each course and each change for each site separately?

Hi Vincent!

Since all your sites are actually separate accounts, you would have to manage them separately. To make it a bit easier, you could use the bulk importer so that you can load all your files at once to the second site you create.

Hope this helps!

I mistakenly opened two sites, and want to close one down permanently, for simplicity sake. How can I do this?

I want to create a Turkish language version of my course... can I have multiple languages across my account or would I have to open another account?

Hi Sarah!

You can set your site so that students have the option of selecting the language for your site. You can take a look at this article to set this up:

I have many different music courses, can I run them all from one site?

Hi John!

Yes, you can create as many courses as you want on your Thinkific site.

Hope this helps!

To be clear - if i want to target 5 different audiences with 5 different sets of instructors and so 5 different sets of courses, then i will have to pay 5 sets of plan fees (i.e. 5 x $99 pm = $495 pm)? If i've understood your instructional video, then there is a way of sending each student to their own relevant course page that is bespoke designed - correct? If so, then is there a way of restricting their access so that they don't see the other 4 sets of courses that have nothing to do with their modality? Hope so - makes a big difference!

Hi Dave!

If you have completely different branding for each audience then we would recommend to use a separate Thinkific site for each. However if all your courses fall under a single brand but they are just targeted to different markets, you can do this with a single site. You can simply set your courses to hidden. In this way they won't show up on the homepage or the All Courses page. The only way to get to these courses is with the direct link. You can take a look at this article for more info on hidden courses:

How many total courses can I have running simultaneously under my account?

Hi Samantha!

Our plans are feature based and not set based on number of courses, content or users so you are free to have as many as you like!

Is there any way we can have multiple schools under one account, with one payment plan? I know teachable does that. It seems crazy to jump from different accounts under the same company. And I'm also surprised you don't have an app. I know you can access courses on any device. But if there's an app on the mobile device the image reminds the students they have an account. And will increase the chance of completing a course, in my opinion, and from personal experience. Plus, an app is a direct way to access the courses compared to going to the search engine, then typing the website, then finally log in. People want convenience because let's face it, our time is limited when most have to juggle so many things from day to day.

Hi Jennifer!

It is one school per payment plan at this point in time, but if you plan on having a large number of schools there may be something we can do. Please send us an email at and we'll take it from there! And although technically it is one school per account, you can have multiple schools under the same email address. Then, when you log in at, you'll see all of your schools listed and can select which one you'd like to work on.

We don't have an app right now, but there is some discussion on that topic here if you're interested.

Happy to help if you have any further questions at all.
